Birthday Party - March 8, 2008

We took Reese to my parents' house in Florida for her first birthday party. We had lots of family and a few friends make the journey to Marianna. Thanks to those of you who came! We really appreciate and love you! It was a struggle for us getting there though. Our Thursday afternoon flights to Tallahassee were cancelled, and we finally made it (luggage MIA until Sunday) to Pensacola late Friday night. Then the power went out in all of Marianna on Saturday morning. It shut Wal-Mart down! Since our party supplies were in the missing luggage, Andrew and I drove to Chipley (about 30 miles away) to the nearest Wal-Mart. So much for my efforts driving around to all of the party supply stores in Fort Worth to get great decorations. All of our family pitched in and help set up, and at 3:00 pm, we had a fun little party with a cupcake shaped cake, a cupcake pinata, and our little cupcake... Reese!
